Advanced Features Training: Elevate Your Motion Amplification® Skills

At RDI Technologies, we are constantly refining and creating new features for our products and our software. After all, innovation is technically our last name (RDI – Research, Development, Innovation). If it’s been a while since you’ve taken the Basic Motion Amplification® (MA) or Advanced MA courses, you may want to consider taking our new Advanced Features training so you can get acquainted with some of our newer hardware and software innovations.

Advanced Features (AF) is an innovative course designed to showcase RDI Technologies’ latest products and applications. This course aims to bring existing users up to speed with the latest advancements, enhancing their Motion Amplification and problem-solving capabilities. “It’s product-specific, whereas in the past, I’ve always tried not to include accessories that some of our customers didn’t have. It was actually requested by Jeff Hay, the CEO and inventor of Motion Amplification. He asked me to create a course that covered some of the lesser known things about Motion Amplification and to cover our newer products.” – Chris Wills, Director of Training

Advanced Features Training Overview

In this brand new two-day course, we will demonstrate some of our newer products and applications, including:

• RDI External Sync
• RDI Stereo Vision
• Data Historization
• Route-Based Applications
• Waterfall Plots
• RDI Modal Amplified™

In the ever-evolving world of Motion Amplification, staying updated with the latest advancements is crucial. That’s where the Advanced Features (AF) course comes in. This course aims to equip existing users with the knowledge and skills to leverage the latest products and applications, enhancing their problem-solving capabilities and Motion Amplification techniques.

Our experienced instructors are ready to guide you. On the first day, you’ll dive into the world of RDI External Sync. This application, which works with our Laser Tach, has left many users wondering about its potential. In the course, you’ll not only learn how to hook it up but also get to see real-life case histories that bring its applications to life.

Next, you’ll explore RDI Stereo Vision, a product that uses two cameras to deliver enhanced analysis capabilities. As you move forward, you’ll learn about our new Route-Based Applications. Initially designed as a troubleshooting tool, Motion Amplification has now evolved to meet the growing demand for predictive maintenance. Our software has incorporated route-based functionalities, transforming how users approach asset management. You’ll learn how to apply these features, turning routine checks into powerful diagnostic tools.

The final segment of the course introduces you to RDI Modal Amplified™. This product simplifies the complex world of modal analysis. By the end of the course, we’ll be performing a full modal project—setting up the system, acquiring data, and analyzing it to produce Modal Amplified videos.

At the completion of the modules, you’ll be ready to take the 25-question multiple-choice exam. Passing it will earn you an Advanced Features (AF) designation, elevating your certification to a new level. As you leave the course, you’ll carry with you not just a certificate but a deeper understanding and a set of skills that will make you a more effective Motion Amplification Analyst.

The course also includes an in-depth training manual. Imagine being handed a training manual that’s more than just instructions—it’s a step-by-step guide to mastering our products.
