Motion Amplification® is a proprietary video processing technique that detects subtle displacement and then converts that movement to a level visible with the naked eye.
Aerospace and Defense engineers are working on the cutting edge of what is possible. As an industry on the forefront of innovation and design your tools should keep up with you. RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ is the most advanced video based testing and predictive maintenance tool in your toolbox.
As the Automotive industry continues to evolve with innovative technologies, designs, higher efficiency and new components, the RDI Technologies Motion Amplification™ technology and Iris Platform help drive progress.
The Manufacturing Industry is the backbone of our society producing everything from food to complex electronics or large automobiles. Keeping your facilities up and running is crucial for the overall supply chain and requires tools that are simple, comprehensive, and solve the root cause. RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ increases uptime and enables you to fix problems quickly and communicate equipment failures.
You keep the light’s on and need tools that help make sure you can do your job. RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ increases uptime and enables you to fix problems quickly and communicate between technical and nontechnical resources.
Structural supports and bases are one of the most overlooked root cause faults. RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ enables you to visualize and measure structural problems instantly without the need to affix sensors or do complex analysis.
Finding defects or design faults are critical in the Design and Engineering phase or development phases of products. RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ gives you the ability to see and confirm with accurate video based measurements if a design is working to specification instantly.
With lots of large infrastructure and piping, the oil and gas industry has critical equipment that is difficult to maintain with current predictive maintenance tools. RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ can visually show all of the motions in complex pipework, on large equipment, and on process lines with accurate non contact measurement and complex analysis to back it.
Large infrastructure, complex assets, and difficult to measure equipment are the norm in metals and mining. RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ enables you to visualize motion, take accurate measurements, and do complex analysis on literally anything the camera can see.
Chemical processing plants have similar machinery types to other industries that we serve but with the increased risk of environmental issues if the equipment is not properly serviced and maintained. RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ enables facilities to safely solve and fix complex problems quickly, improves communication with OEMs during install of new equipment, and improves communication of PdM monitoring results between technical and non technical resources.
The Medical Manufacturing industry services a wide range of assets from very small pieces of equipment that do the detailed work of producing needles and bags to large process lines pushing out product. RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ enables you visualize and measure large process lines and fine detail equipment in real time and with a high degree of accuracy.
The Pulp and Paper industry utilizes a wide range of machinery and equipment virtually around the clock. RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ allows you to monitor every type of machinery, in real time with zero down time and solve for the root cause of the problem to save money and time.
Cell phone towers are a critical part of modern society and require regular maintenance. RDI’s Cableview Tension Meter allows you to quickly measure multiple guy wires and once and get TIA approved measurements quickly.
One of our largest customer markets, wastewater treatment plants and utility companies utilize RDI’s Iris Platform powered by Motion Amplification™ on complex piping networks, to keep their pumps up and running properly, and to visually inspect their structural components and bases.
With the Iris CM, Motion Amplification® is no longer just a point in time troubleshooting tool. It is a flexible and scalable solution that continuously monitors your equipment while you are away.
The Iris CM from RDI Technologies is the latest innovation in video-based asset condition monitoring. This tool connects traditional vibration inputs and RDI’s patented video-based vibration measurements to ensure you never miss anything in your facility. An infinite number of cameras can be networked to capture simultaneous data and offer multiple views of a process, test, or piece of machinery. Each camera can store up to 90 minutes of HD data per camera. Users can trigger video and data recordings based on external inputs, virtual camera-based regions of interest, and thresholds for movement. The Iris CM features live Motion Amplification® and the ability to quantify vibration, amplitude, phase, and frequency for anything visible in the recorded video. This product uniquely allows people to troubleshoot transient events and visualize your assets over longer periods of time like no tool has before. Unlike traditional continuous monitoring systems, the Iris CM does not have to be permanently mounted and does not have to touch any of your equipment. With the Iris CM, you now have to ability to see what is happening on your equipment 24/7 even when you are away.
Motion Amplification® is a proprietary video processing technique that detects subtle displacement and then converts that movement to a level visible with the naked eye.
Iris CM™ measures and quantifies mechanical or structural assets that a camera can see with the same accuracy as a contacting displacement sensor.
Iris CM™ allows you to filter data and visualize movement at specific frequencies to find the real source of a problem and help position your team to fix it.
Iris CM™ enhances understanding of components and interrelationships creating movement and provides a communication tool for technical and non-technical resources.
Unique to the Iris CM, Motion Monitor gives you the ability to set virtual video based triggers, time based triggers, and triggers based off of connected devices. It continuously monitors and captures events based off of your preset preferences.
RDI’s Motion Amplification® Analysis Software makes complex asset analysis as simple as point and shoot. Each simple video taken in the acquisition software can now be used to extract time waveforms, spectra, and orbits or for complex processes like frequency-based filtering, shaft inspection, and much more.
The new Motion Studio Update gives you the ability to create more powerful videos with RDI’s Motion Amplification® software. Add spectra and waveforms to your videos, show multiple views from a single screen, and edit your videos straight from the video editor screen. Motion Studio gives you all the tools for your reports.
All of this data needs somewhere to live in an organized and simple to access format. Motion Explorer is a comprehensive file management tool that keeps all your data organized, accessible, and ready for further analysis at any point in time.
Apply amplification before acquiring a recording. Scan assets instantly to see motion in real time.
Trigger recordings based on physical inputs or virtual camera-based sensors. Store video pre and post triggers for analysis before and after events.
Once configured, Iris CM can continuously monitor your asset with live Motion Amplification®, trigger and store recordings, and provide all the data analysis of Motion Amplification® software but 24/7.
The Iris CM is a completely scalable solution that can be networked to utilize multiple cameras and simultaneously cover multiple assets.
