Jeff is the CEO of RDI Technologies. He thrives on creating innovative products that disrupt industries and help customers see things in a whole new way. He believes that cameras are the sensor of the future.

Jeff’s background is in Applied Optical Physics. Before founding RDI, Jeff held a Research Scientist position at the University of Louisville where he developed and patented a method to measure motion remotely with the use of a video camera. His roles focused on data acquisition, signal processing, software development, and data analysis. In addition to these technical roles, Jeff was responsible for overseeing the commercialization aspect of the grants he was involved in.

Since starting RDI, he has created and patented multiple methods for using camera technology to measure and visualize motion that are integral to RDI’s products. In addition to research Jeff also manages the development team at RDI and overseas all product development. He is also actively involved in customer demos, training, and site implementation because he believes that customer feedback and success drive better products.

Jeff has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Louisville.

Bob is the President of RDI. He spends his days building the RDI team and executing plans for making RDI customers happy users. With over 35 years of experiences ranging from Fortune 500 management positions, to taking a company from startup to IPO, and creating entrepreneur development incubators and support networks he has built teams, companies and deployed technologies in a diverse range of industries and markets.

At CSI, a software and instrumentation company, he held senior level sales, marketing, and general manager positions guiding the 500+ employee company through the IPO process and subsequent sale to Emerson Electric.  After leaving CSI, he developed and ran a high tech incubator program that worked with over 250 startup companies.  Through this program, the CEG, he personally handled 4 mergers and acquisitions, developed and delivered 50+ entrepreneurial training classes to over 1000 entrepreneurs and performed interim management roles and advisory roles for new startups to take them from idea to funded and sustainable operations.

Bob graduated from Eckerd College with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Management.

Jenna is the COO of RDI and devotes most of her day to ensuring that the customers get the best product, support, and experience possible. She believes in the technology behind RDI’s products and was willing to stake her career on it.

She brings a strong financial and operational background to the team. Jenna started out her career working for two Fortune 500 companies where her responsibilities included finance, accounting, and government contract management. For the 4 years prior to joining RDI she was actively involved with entrepreneurial startup company management teams conducting market studies and building business plans and financial models.  She has also engaged with the NIHS commercialization team in conducting research for industry assessments and project based market assessments.  Jenna has also reviewed numerous business plans and financial models for angel and venture capital firms.

Jenna graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelors degree in Finance, Logistics, and International Business in 3 years.

Mark is the Director of Software development of RDI. He is responsible for the functionality, usability, and quality of the software that is used by RDI’s customers. His career includes over 25 years developing vibration analysis software that is used to monitor and evaluate machinery reliability.

Prior to joining RDI in 2016, Mark worked for over 23 years at Emerson / CSI. He served various software development roles in their engineering organization including hands-on development of Windows-based applications, technical lead of projects, managing a team of developers, and also serving as the primary UX designer.   The software that he developed involved vibration analysis of rotating industrial machinery with a focus on visualizing the data for analysis by the end user.

Mark graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He also holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Tennessee.

Dan is the Vice President of Business Development at RDI Technologies. He enjoys introducing customers to RDI’s revolutionary Motion Amplification technology and watching their eyes light up when they recognize that it can positively impact their daily activities. He is also challenged with developing the most promising business opportunities. With RDI’s forward looking advancements, there are many opportunities to choose from.

Dan has over 35 years of field service, product development, machine design and sales experience with all reliability-based technologies. As a young engineer, Dan started and operated reliability-based programs at the government facilities in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He moved on to CSI as a Development Engineer and championed several award-winning products that lead to multiple successful product lines. In his last few years at Emerson, Dan developed business opportunities and machine monitoring techniques targeted to the Metals & Mining global markets.

Dan graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Dan is a Level III Vibration Analyst, a registered engineer in the state of Tennessee, a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and currently holds 11 patents with several more pending.

Geoff is the Chief Financial Officer of RDI. Geoff’s main area of interest is in managing and measuring the activities key to customer and employee success that drive financial results. Geoff has 30 years of experience in progressive positions responsible for all functions of finance, accounting, cash flow, capital formation, and corporate transactions ranging in size from $1M up to $160M+. Geoff has also worked with high growth companies from formation to exit via IPO or merger and acquisition. Geoff began his professional career with Ernst and Young, one of the Big 4 audit/accounting firms.

Geoff is also involved with a first of its kind early stage venture fund in East Tennessee, The Lighthouse Fund, whose 8 portfolio companies have collectively raised over $130M of investment capital in the last five years and continue to grow aggressively with revenues approaching $100M this year.

Geoff is a licensed CPA (inactive) in the State of Tennessee. Geoff graduated with High Honors from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration/Accounting.

Joe is a senior member of the development team at RDI and spends his time creating and improving our products. He has over 40 years of software development experience covering full range high speed data acquisition and analysis to creation of advanced knowledge-based systems. His doctorate in experimental physics, coupled with his strong mathematical background allows him to develop effective, user friendly solutions for the most difficult problems.

Prior to joining RDI, Joe worked for almost 20 years designing and developing software for Emerson/CSI. During that time, he was involved with nearly every aspect of Emerson’s Machinery Health Manager™ family of tools for analysis of vibration and other aspects of industrial machinery. Joe was certified as an ISO Category III and ANST Level 2B Vibration Analyst. His other accomplishments at CSI included design and development of the shared software library for data plotting and analysis, the complete infrared analysis system, the high speed, high volume transient vibration data acquisition and management subsystem and maintenance and extension of libraries to support complex vibration analysis. Further back, Joe’s history includes multiple small startups that did well and were acquired by large firms including Westinghouse and General Electric.

Joe earned a B.A. in Physics with honors from Hiram College, Hiram, OH and his Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN.

Mike enjoys interacting with a growing customer base at RDI. His aviation background in the EMS community keeps him grounded in the importance and promptness of providing good customer service.

He began his career as a helicopter mechanic in the Gulf of Mexico 30 years ago. He spent 10 years as an Air Ambulance mechanic involved in routine maintenance with an emphasis on Rotor Track and Balance and vibration analysis. He moved to the ACES division of Technology for Energy Corporation (TEC) where he was involved in the development of vibration analysis equipment for the aviation industry. At TEC, Mike held positions in Sales, Product Support, and Customer Service.

In his product support role, he also helped in the release of three major products on time and under budget. Additional job duties included product design, software testing, and customer training.

Mike graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tusculum College with a Bachelors degree in Organizational Management with a Financial Concentration.

Mark Vowell is an Application Engineer who works closely with the RDI development team to ensure software and hardware products are up to the task of everyday use in any environment, for any user. He believes that even higher technology tools should be accessible to the masses, otherwise they will not become an integral part of anyone’s toolkit.

Mark worked for Emerson / CSI for 16 years in various roles including vibration services and remote analysis services for vibration. During his time at Commtest he had several responsibilities including sales, support, services amongst others before it was acquired by GE. For over 25 years Mark has provided services and support to ensure the success of Predictive Maintenance programs, in both private and government entities. He is proud to be – and proud to have been – a team member with some of the most innovative companies this industry has to offer.

Mark has been in the Predictive Maintenance industry since 1991. He is a certified Level 3 Vibration Analyst and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.

Andrew is the Strategic Initiatives Manager at RDI. He has many duties at RDI from marketing, new product line development, and working on ways to improve the customer experience. Andrew has worked with several different startup companies across multiple industries, and he brings that experience to RDI along with a strong passion for the technology and excitement about future growth for RDI.

Before working at RDI, Andrew worked for 15 years in various startup, commercialization, venture capital, and international consulting positions.  His main work included market research, business modeling for operations and finance including the development of business plans and successful strategies for implementation. He started two companies in the field of Alzheimer’s disease research and is committed to innovation and the development of disruptive technologies that benefit customers.

Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and information systems from Tulane University and an M.B.A. in finance and entrepreneurship and innovation from the University of Tennessee and was selected to the Beta Gamma Sigma Honors Society.

Chris is the Director of Training for RDI and devoted to making sure that RDI’s customers leave training with a deep understanding of how to integrate the Iris M into their current processes, so that they can make the most of RDI’s exciting technologies.

Chris brings with him of over 20 years of vibration analysis experience, as well as 10 years of training experience with Emerson, where, as a senior instructor, he taught advanced vibration analysis, field balancing, alignment, and software classes. He was also instrumental in creating Emerson’s ISO compliant vibration analysis certification program.

Chris was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps in 1989 and is a certified Category IV vibration analyst.

Ken Piety is the Innovation Director at RDI and is responsible for finding and evaluating new market opportunities to fuel growth at RDI. RDI’s ability to detect and measure motion and specific frequencies in areas of interest using cameras has a very broad spectrum for application.

Ken recognized the value proposition that RDI was bringing to the market and elected to become one of the first investors in the company.

He was formerly the Vice President of Technology at Azima DLI and was responsible for the development of a new paradigm in vibration analysis tools and a second generation cloud-based vibration diagnostic center. He has been a pioneer in making vibration analysis and other condition assessment technologies useful on the factory floor for almost 40 years. He is the holder of more than 30 patents and numerous publications related to reliability-based maintenance technologies. Dr. Piety was a cofounder of CSI and was employed there for 18 years. Prior to CSI, Dr. Piety worked as a development engineer at General Electric, Technology for Energy Corporation, and at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He holds a B.S. (1970) and Ph.D. (1976) in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

As the Director of Sales at RDI, John brings 25 years of experience in vibration analysis and predictive maintenance to assisting prospective customers in understanding how Motion Amplification can help them.

With a wide-ranging background that includes services, training, operational management, and sales responsibility, he brings a balanced approach to identifying challenges and then working with customers to develop practical solutions.  John believes that the correct mission of salespeople should be to educate so that customers are able to make informed decisions that lead to positive outcomes. He has participated in such cooperative relationships with approximately 1000 partner customers in over 25 countries.

John’s holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (specialized in Nuclear Physics and Mechanical Engineering), with additional course work in Experimental Modal Analysis at the University of Cincinnati.  He is a licensed Professional Engineer.

Sean is the Northeast Regional Sales Manager for RDI. Sean was blown away by RDI’s technology from the first time he saw it and is excited to be an ambassador – bringing this disruptive technology to the market.

Sean brings with him a desire to match world class service before and after the sale with great products to create an ideal experience for RDI’s customers.

Sean’s boisterous personality and love for problem solving allowed him to evolve from Engineering alone to Sales and Account Development. His natural technical aptitude and outgoing personality created a perfect blend for technical sales. Prior to joining the team at RDI Technologies, Sean spent several years recruiting in technical fields before joining CTC, where he sold vibration analysis hardware as a Regional Manager overseeing the southeastern United States.

Sean holds a degree in Packaging Science Engineering with a minor in Communications from the Rochester Institute of Technology in NYS. He was first and formerly introduced into the world of Shock and Vibration while attending RIT, where he spent most of his time in a laboratory researching the impact of packaging design and material sciences. Sean is a member of the International Honour Society and graduated in the top 10% of his class at RIT.

Dominick is the System Test and Assembly Manager at RDI. He works with the Iris M systems to ensure that every aspect of the system functions at the optimal capacity. He enjoys working with the advanced technology that makes up the Iris M system. He also works with customers on any support problems that might arise.

Dominick is very customer focused and driven, whether he is building and testing the systems or dealing with customer support issues he relishes the opportunity to work with RDI’s customers and give them the best possible products to put in their toolkit.

Prior to joining RDI, Dominick was a Senior test technician at Technology for Energy Corp (TEC) calibrating and repairing Aviation Vibration test equipment.

Dominick was honorably discharged from the United States Navy where he was certified as an Aviation Electronics Technician.

Janos is the Sales Manager for the Canada region. He puts his bilingual passion

Janos is the Sales Manager for the Canada region. He puts his bilingual passion for vibration analysis and solving machinery problems to good use, initiating, training and supporting Canadian practitioners of asset health monitoring in Motion Amplification.

Over 10 years, Janos was a permanent machinery protection system support specialist, where he excelled in the application and technical realization of alarm/shutdown and online data acquisition systems for large critical rotating equipment. In this role, he would participate in instrumenting hydro turbines, gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, generators and pumps. Eventually wanting to know more about vibration analysis, Janos ventured into the world of consulting, using CSI technology and others to create predictive maintenance programs using portable and online systems. During these latter 10 years, he trained in oil and lubricant analysis, thermography, ultrasound, root cause analysis, electric motors and gearboxes as well. Work would take him into most industries, such as Oil and Gas, petrochemical, power generation, food and beverages, pulp and paper, mining and metals, pharmaceutical and more. As much as he likes learning, Janos loves sharing knowledge, and as such has trained and mentored many vibration analysts along the way.

Janos is a certified category IV vibration analyst with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is a licensed engineer in the province of Quebec.

Alvin, a native of the Philippines, is a Senior Software Engineer at RDI. He is responsible for developing

Alvin, a native of the Philippines, is a Senior Software Engineer at RDI. He is responsible for developing software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage & work processes. He confers with users and investigates problem areas. He is committed to demonstrating solutions through the completion of the software development lifecycle.

Prior to joining RDI in 2018, Alvin worked for over 8 years at Emerson. There, he implemented device specific subsystems using C/C++, C#, and ASP.NET for the next generation of machinery protection software. He also has experience with user interface components using HTML, CSS and AngularJS. In this role, he was involved with implementing features and improvements for Machinery Health Manager™ and communications between Emerson’s various portable devices and the vibration technology software. He also provided technical leadership, guidance, and support to junior technical staff on the Manila development team for legacy systems.

Alvin earned his BS in Computer Science from Mapúa Institute of Technology (now Mapúa University) in the Philippines.

Brian is the Director of Customer Success of RDI. His passion is on the customer having a great experience with RDI. RDI builds devices to help our customers be more effective in their position. His strives daily to understand RDI’s customers, how they do their positions,  and how RDI can help them currently and in the future.

Brian brings 20 years of experience working directly with clients. Before working at RDI, Brian founded a SAAS company in the government purchasing industry. At the company Brian had many roles, including Customer Success, Product Manager, and Sales. He also managed the development team. The company’s success was built on the customer success and loyalty with the high retention rate in the industry. Brian started out his career in sales. Working in a wide range of industries including railroad one of the first IT cloud providers in the country.

Brian graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Tennessee. Outside of work Brian enjoys playing soccer, and plans to play until as long as his body will allow.

Scott has over 30 years of rotating equipment and condition monitoring experience, with an emphasis on vibration analysis, most recently with SKF, where as a regional service/sales manager, he worked with a team to support customers with reliability services, technology, solutions and training.

Scott received a technical degree in Electromechanical Technology from the Center of Robotic Technology in Chicago, IL. Scott is Vibration Analysis certified ISO Category III, Thermography Level II and Applied Modal & Operating Deflection Shape Analysis trained.

Paul is a Sales Manager for the Southwest and West Regions of the United States focused on providing the End User Customer the Software, Hardware, Training and Support within the RDI Portfolio. His focus is on using his Drive Passion and Commitment to ensure that the RDI product, training and support exceeds the expectations of our customers.

Paul knows that when you learn and witness what RDI has to offer you will be amazed at the results. With RDI “Seeing is Believing”.

Paul has 28 years of Predictive Maintenance experience starting his career out as a Field Service PdM Technician and advancing his career where he spent the last 10 years managing the National Business Development, Integration, Services and System Engineering as it pertains to PdM Systems, Software, Hardware, Training and Service Personnel for SKF.

Paul is an ASNT/ISO Cat III Certified Vibration Analyst along with Certifications and training in Infrared Thermography, Ultrasound, Motor Current Analysis, Alignment, Balancing and NDT Inspections. Paul also has extensive training and experience in Advanced Modal, Operating Deflection Shape and Chatter Analysis Testing for Customers in his career. His College education was in Biology at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI.

Samantha “Sam” Bunch is the Operations Support Specialist for RDI. Sam wears many hats with RDI, but mostly marketing and operations. She is looking forward to the culture with RDI, the growth, using her creativity, and the challenges to come!

Sam has a Marketing and Sales background. She has worked for small, but high growth tech startups all the way to large companies.  Throughout her career, Sam has worked with organizations in several different industries — from property management, behavioral health software, configuration software, and now Vibration Analysis.

Sam graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelors degree in Health Education. When she isn’t working you’ll find her spending time with her furry children, working out, exploring roads less traveled, or reading thrillers.

Dustin is the Midwest Regional Sales Manager for RDI Technologies. Dustin has been in the predictive maintenance industry for more than 16 years. He started his career as a Field Service Technician, then made his way to Vibration Analyst, Reliability Consulting Engineer, and most recently a Business Development Manager.
Dustin has a “customer-centric” mentality and firsthand knowledge and experience of the benefits that this revolutionary technology offers. Dustin truly believes that when you can see what the vibration is doing to your assets through RDI’s proprietary Motion Amplification™ Software you can communicate more effectively.

Mark Costanzo is a Principal Software Engineer at RDI. For nearly 30 years he’s been developing software that seamlessly interacts with hardware to provide the quickest and most reliable user experience possible.

Prior to joining RDI, Mark spent 8 years at Emerson/CSI enhancing and supporting real-time vibration monitoring software and leading the data acquisition software components of a web-based vibration monitoring system. He spent the first 17 years of his career working in the retail point-of-sale industry, developing software for a wide array of devices ranging from the industry’s first self-service kiosks to advanced kitchen monitoring systems.

Mark also has experience with emissions control monitoring systems and web-based commercial payroll processing systems. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in 1988 with a degree in Computer Science and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society.

Cory is the Southeast Regional Sales Manager. He is very excited to introduce customers to the ground-breaking technology of Motion Amplification and knows this will change the way his customers are currently doing business. Helping his customers work smarter and enhancing the way his customers do business is what drives him.

His 30+ years in Industry includes experience in vibration analysis, ultrasonics, thermography, and corrective technologies. He is a Level II vibration analyst, Level I ultrasonics, and Level II thermographer and has an extensive background in balancing and alignment.

Cory is currently serving as Vice Chairman of the Georgia Chapter of the Vibration Institute and is in his 4th year of volunteer fire fighting.

Judd is the Sales and Training Manager for the Northwest region of the United States focusing on complete customer satisfaction with RDI products. His enthusiasm for reliability centered maintenance and love of technology drives him to ensure RDI customers have all the tools and knowledge necessary to be successful.

Over the past 2 decades, Judd has used his passion for acquiring knowledge to obtain journeyman status in three different maintenance related trades. As a PDM Technician in the Lumber Industry, he discovered Motion Amplification and is devoted to passing on his experience using this powerful technology since its infancy.

Judd is an ISO Level III Certified Vibration Analyst. His other certifications include: Level 1 Infrared Thermography, Level I Ultrasound, Precision Maintenance Practices, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Critical Machine Alignment, Bearing Installation and Maintenance, Industrial Hydraulics, and Lubrication Practices. He is also a Journeyman Saw Filer and a Washington State Certified Journeyman Millwright.

Woody is a Software Test Engineer who works with RDI Development to extend the limits of hardware and test the limits of software. He believes in using and producing high-quality products that withstand use and abuse.

Woody is a Software Test Engineer who works with RDI Development to extend the limits of hardware and test the limits of software. He believes in using and producing high-quality products that withstand use and abuse.

Woody began his career working as a Research Engineer for CETE at UT Chattanooga.  There he studied hybrid, electric, and hydrogen vehicles.  He spent several years as a Sales Engineer, Rally Racing Technician, and Hobbyist.  He has designed and fabricated advanced cooling systems for overclocked computers.

Woody holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Alex Holcomb is the Marketing and Communications Specialist for RDI.  He is responsible for producing marketing materials and managing promotional campaigns.  He believes that clear communication drives success.

Alex Holcomb is the Marketing and Communications Specialist for RDI. He is responsible for producing marketing materials and managing promotional campaigns. He believes that clear communication drives success.

Alex has a background in marketing and journalism. He has marketed businesses in a variety of industries including healthcare, finance, marketing, and software.

Alex graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Electronic Media in 3 years. 

Joe Ortiz is Director of Test and Measurement Markets, and he is passionate about enhancing customer value through the application of new, innovative technologies. In his role at RDI, Joe will lead the firm’s growth into new customer markets and applications, leveraging RDI’s strong foundation in contactless Motion Amplification™ imaging technology.

Director of Test and Measurement Markets

Joe Ortiz is Director RDI Test and Measurement Markets, and he is passionate about enhancing customer value through the application of new, innovative technologies. In his role at RDI, Joe will lead the firm’s growth into new customer markets and applications, leveraging RDI’s strong foundation in contactless Motion Amplification™ imaging technology. Joe’s business and technical background in machine vision, 2D, 3D, and immersive/VR imaging systems, markets, and applications position him well to help develop and drive RDI expansion plans in the Test and Measurement Markets.

Joe has a diverse professional background which includes P&L management, IT operations, product management, and software engineering and spans across several industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, consumer electronics, media, and security/surveillance. His expertise includes large multi-national firms, growth stage startups, small and medium-sized enterprises. His top professional accomplishment was starting and building 4D Imaging Systems, a technology firm focused on organizing and analyzing visual data to track change over time.

Joe holds an MBA from Arizona State University, an MS in Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina, and a BS in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is certified in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) 4.0 Foundations.

Amy Archer is an Assistant Accounting Manager & works with RDI’s CFO providing support with daily financial duties, reporting, budgeting, & strategic planning.

Amy Archer is an Assistant Accounting Manager & works with RDI’s CFO providing support with daily financial duties, reporting, budgeting, & strategic planning.

Amy comes to RDI after working as their outsourced accounting bookkeeper for the last 2 1/2 years with her former employer of 6 years, Two Roads & is excited to be involved with the continued growth & planning.

Amy attended Western Kentucky University & Tennessee Tech University & will work on completing her degree in Accounting in 2020. In her spare time, she enjoys family, music, travel, & the outdoors.

Will is a Test and Assembly Technician who works with the service and support team to ensure proper functionality of the Iris M systems.

Will is a Test and Assembly Technician who works with the service and support team to ensure proper functionality of the Iris M™ systems. He also works with customers on support issues and any problems that might arise.

Will brings a strong customer service background to the RDI team and is always aiming for first contact resolution.

Prior to joining RDI, Will was a Service Agent at a Fortune 500 insurance company. His other skills range from collections and payroll to process improvement.

Will is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business management and enjoys hiking with his son and fiancée in his spare time.
