The Leading Reliability Partnership Continues!

The Leading Reliability Partnership Continues!

Strange times called for creativity, and so emerged the Leading Reliability collective effort consisting of the teams at Eruditio, Fluke Reliability, UE Systems, and your very own RDI Technologies. Together we continue to develop ways to connect, engage and educate our industry communities. We will be back in Clearwater, FL from May 9-13, 2022! As you prepare to attend, be sure to take part in our upcoming webinar series. Details below:

Vibration, It’s Just Physics

Let’s get back to the basics! Vibration measurement is a key component of a comprehensive reliability program. At the core of a seemingly complex topic such as vibration monitoring are simple physics concepts that govern the behaviors of our machinery and structures. Join us with an open mind and see vibration from a different angle. No physics background is needed!

Ultrasound 101 – Advancements in Ultrasound

on January 27, 2022 at 1 PM EST

Any maintenance & reliability program can benefit from implementing ultrasound to help improve equipment reliability, prevent downtime, reduce energy waste, and complement efforts from other technologies such as vibration analysis and infrared thermography. Attendees will be introduced to ultrasound technology and a history of ultrasound instrumentation. Sound file examples will be used to demonstrate to the attendees as if they were performing the inspections themselves.

The applications that will be covered in this webinar include:

  • Compressed air leak detection & cost savings reports that quantify the cost of compressed air leaks.
  • Steam trap inspection & reporting that show energy loss from failed or leaking steam traps.
  • Electrical inspection with ultrasound & how to diagnose electrical faults like corona, tracking, and arcing. Standards such as NFPA 70B will also be mentioned.
  • Best practice information for using ultrasound to improve equipment reliability by detecting early-stage bearing failures, establishing ultrasound routes for data collection, setting baselines and alarm levels, as well as, using ultrasound to prevent lubrication-related bearing failures.

Attendees will be introduced to ultrasound technology and a history of ultrasound instrumentation. Sound file examples will be used to demonstrate to the attendees as if they were performing the inspections themselves.
