Basic Motion Amplification ® Training (Three Days)

RDI’s Basic Motion Amplification Training is intended to teach students everything they need to know to properly and effectively use the Basic Motion Amplification System.

Course Description:
Over three days our experienced instructors will teach students how to:

• Create and Manage an Equipment Hierarchy Using Motion Explorer
• Properly Operate a High-Speed Camera
• Use a Manual Camera Aperture
• Deal With Various Lighting Conditions
•  Analyze Data Using Motion Amplification Software
•  Capture and Analyze Vibration Spectra and Waveforms
•  Convert Raw Video Footage into Usable Information
•  Create Compelling Presentations Using Motion Studio
•  Manage, Back-up, and Move Motion Amplification Data

Level I Motion Amplification ® Certification:

This proves that you are qualified to use Motion Amplification. Students will have the opportunity to take the Level I Motion Amplification Certification Exam at the end of the training. Students who pass this exam will be awarded a Level I Motion Amplification Certificate.

Basic Motion Amplification ® Training Requirements:

• Students will be using Laptop Computers running the Windows Operating System. Basic
  computer skills are highly recommended.
•  This class contains many references to vibration analysis. If you don’t know what
  vibration analysis is, or if you have limited experience with vibration analysis, it is highly
  recommended that you view the following Introduction to Vibration Analysis video

• All classes begin at 8 AM and end at approximately 4:30 PM.
• Lunch, drinks, and snacks are provided each day.
• Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes for in-person courses.
